It perpetuates the tradition making numerous local products: the famous Gaperon, the Lesquiro butter (silver medalist in 2005 of the Agricultural General Competition) and more than 50 specialities based on cow, goat and sheep milk.
The dairy industry is part of the AOC Cheese Road and the farmer Soron St Nectaire, still ripened in natural cellar in Aubière and medalist more than once at the Agricultural General Competition of 2005 (gold, silver and bronze).
